Overview of Services
General Construction
Fletcher Contractors specializes in facilitating the construction of commercial projects, including office, restaurant, and retail buildings. We can do Cross-laminated timber (CLT) construction. We specialize in one to three-store structures.
Pilot Infiltration Test (PIT)
A Pilot Infiltration Test (PIT) is used to measure the saturated hydraulic conductivity of the native soils of an area of land. It helps to determine the long-term infiltration rate of the soil. The test is conducted by digging a test pit to the required specifications, adding water to the test pit, and monitoring the test pit for a predetermined amount of time. The data is then analyzed to determine the land's infiltration rate to determine if alternative draining measures for the land are required.
These types of tests are required to evaluate if stormwater can be infiltrated for projects where land disturbance takes place. We ensure that the Washington State Department of Ecology stormwater requirements is met. We partner with a civil engineering firm to implement the tests and find the results for our clients.
